I didn't know any of the answers. It was embarrassing, and it stung. But that pain lit a fire in me. I went home, opened YouTube, and started teaching myself how to code.

Today, I am 16 years old. I just finished secondary school, I scored 244 in my JAMB exams, and I am aspiring to study Software Engineering at ATBU. But right now, I am a solo founder building my first real product: NaijaStack.

The Spark: The ₦0.67 Embarrassment

I built NaijaStack because of a personal experience. One day, someone sent me and my friend a fake payment screenshot. We thought we had been paid ₦1,000. We were so happy. But when we went to the POS terminal to withdraw the money, we saw our balance: ₦0.67.

The embarrassment we felt in that moment is something I will never forget.

I realized that this happens to Nigerian vendors every single day. If you sell on WhatsApp, you are constantly checking your bank app, tracking orders in your head, and managing inventory on a notepad. It's exhausting and risky. I knew I had to fix it.

The Grind: Debugging from a Mobile Phone

Building NaijaStack hasn't been easy. I am a solo developer with no funding. I don't have a fancy laptop setup. The hardest part of this journey so far has been debugging from my mobile phone. If you have ever tried to find a missing bracket or fix an API error on a small screen, you know the pain.

I don't have money for ads. I don't have a team. But I have a working product, and I have the hustle.

The Win: My First Real Vendor

I got my first vendor by sliding into his DMs. I didn't pitch him like a corporate salesman. I just explained the app, told him I was a young developer trying to solve a real problem, and asked if he would try it for free. He was interested.

When he set up his account and successfully created his first order, I was beyond happy. Seeing a real Nigerian business owner trust the software I built from scratch on my phone gave me all the validation I needed.

The Future: Worldwide

NaijaStack is a simple tool. It helps vendors manage orders, track inventory, record expenses, and uses AI to scan payment screenshots in under 5 seconds. Right now, I am focused on helping Nigerian vendors.

But my big dream? I want NaijaStack to be used worldwide.

I am building in public because I want to document this journey. I might not have a CAC registration yet, and I definitely don't have Silicon Valley investors, but I have a live app and my first user.

If you are a Nigerian vendor struggling with fake payment screenshots, or if you just want to support a 16-year-old builder, check out the app below.

Your hustle deserves better. Let's build your dream together.
